...and you'd love to see him fall on his face? nothing like 'smugness' to get the beehive buzzing - I almost wish the Cowboys, Giants or Redskins drafted him.....

I think he has potential. Though being an Arizona Cardinal out of the limelight will help the rest of us.

Though being an Arizona Cardinal out of the limelight will help the rest of us. that's why it would be so epic if he was on the Cowboys or Pats.... i'm hoping Bradford lights it up in Arizona and stays healthy (save the jokes folks) and midseason we start to hear Rosen grumbling on the sidelines..... great theater from this prima donna smug pr*ck.........

I can see using something like that to fire up your competitive juices. But his "nine teams are idiots" spiel was asinine. Yeah, Josh, the Colts should have drafted you. Yeah, Josh, the Niners should have grabbed you. Yeah, Josh, Cleveland should have taken you AND Mayfield. Chicago should have dumped Trubitsky and picked your injury plagued ass. He's eternally hurt and there are serious question whether he an play outside of perfect conditions. That's why Buffalo passed on him and I'm glad they did. He could be great and Josh Allen could suck. But the safer bet for the Bills was the Man from Laramie

I don't really put any stock in anyone's draft position. Far too many top picks have completely crapped out and far too many later-great players started as really low draft selections that no one paid any attention to at the time. It's basically a crapshoot at the draft stage.

I dunno, I’d want my qb to use whatever he needs to motivate himself. If it makes him better on the field, great.

I like Rosen, I think he will be an excellent QB, he will fit in perfectly at Zona IMO, yeah he’s kind of arrogant but he seems motivated. He’s better than Darnold and maybe Allen IMO, Jets should’ve taken him, although the NY media would have a field day with his comments. I think Arizona is a perfect fit for him, close to where he’s from and not a lot of media there.

I think he would have played well on the Jets, but like you said, every time he blinked funny it'd be on the back page of the New York Post and Mike Francesa calling for his head. Now he has a chance to succeed in a town that barely gives a shit about sports in the first place. I think he will do well there, warm weather, near the west coast, good WRs.

I don’t get the whole “smug” “arrogance” thing. This seems more to do with the already existing image of him pushed by the media. I feel like if anyone else made comments like him, it’s chalked up to “competitiveness”.
If anything does annoy me about Rosen, it’s the way the media insists on focusing on his personality and interests as though anyone should give a damn. If I have to read one more piece about how he’s “inquisitive” or “curious” or “needs to ask why”...
I couldn’t care less about any of that; he’s an exciting talent on the field who should get a lot of wins with Arizona over the next decade. Regardless, if people love him or hate him it’s good for the league. Sports need characters and personalities to root for or against. Helps the entertainment factor.
