DOESN'T EVERYONE?Y Yes I mean simultaneously ... at the same time. I figure it must be a special skill or some kind of mental phenomenon to be able to do that. I knew a teacher that could carry on a conversation with two different students. They would literally talk at the same time and she would answer both. It was an amazing thing to witness. Must be the same part of the brain that allows some people to be able to write or draw with both hands ... like the artist that created Charlie Brown. |

It's possible but you're not going to retain much information.
You can rapidly cycle between two films visually and grasp the general mise en scene and movement of two films simultaneously so while mentally demanding and inevitable that you'll miss minute details, it is very possible.
The biggest problem is the audio. It is significantly more difficult as you have to take in all the auditory information at once. It results in a cacophony that is difficult to separate as the audio from one will drown out or bleed into the audio from the other and dialogue becomes nearly incomprehensible. One possibility is having two movie players and a pair of earphones and setting the sound from one to only the left channel and the other to only the right channel. With practice, you might be able to train yourself to cycle your focus between each ear.
Either way, it's probably best to just watch one thing at a time.

I don't watch 2 simultaneously like you mean but recently started having up to 3 in progress at once, where I'll watch a little of one, then a different one, etc. Granted not the best way to take in cinema but apparently I have some pretty serious ADD or something.
