I'm not really a fan of many of his films but curious to which y'all will pick.

Only seen just over half his output, quite like most of it. Went with:
Dead Ringers eXistenZ Naked Lunch

Scanners The Dead Zone Videodrome I always thought The Fly was a bit overrated, and while technically a very good movie, A Dangerous Method was just so damn talky...but props for being able to see Keira getting spanked.

Videodrome The Fly The Dead Zone
Those three epitomize the appeal of Cronenberg's films for me. They've got flawed characters, dark overtones, some creepy gore FX and scary moments.
I also love Scanners, but the lead actor's wooden acting brings the overall quality down a smidge from the three I listed.

I should probably give Videodrome another shot but I have always preferred the similar themed eXistenZ

I picked "The Fly" and "Scanners". The former was excellent and the latter was pretty good.
I've hated every other Cronenberg film I've seen which includes: eXistenZ Naked Lunch Videodrome
