I wonder what the budget is. I remember reading somewhere it was $100M. I can kind of see that. Aside from King Arthur, it resembles that steampunk themed Three Musketeers movie from a while back. That cost about $75M.

Is it only me or at some point it looked like they are dressed in Armani?

I want those 2 mins back! Is it only me or at some point it looked like they are dressed in Armani? I made a thread about the publicity photos a while back. Seems they're aiming for a 'timeless' retro chic feel. Much like the BBC show from ten years ago. It was dumb then...but the show did it...better?

I must admit I don't get much of BBC here but we seem to agree it looks bad (the costumes and the movie)!

I'll admit the 2 movies were crap but it seems like it's what they've done with G.I. Joe: Retaliation. They created a female version of most male characters, making them sidekicks at best. It was just stupid to create those characters when they haven't used the all females ones that could be seen in the cartoon and comics.

It was just stupid to create those characters when they haven't used the all females ones that could be seen in the cartoon and comics. Wait, I think Jaye and Jinx were from the comics? I must have misexplained myself. Jaye was in the cartoon (where I clearly remember her) before being in the comics ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lady_Jaye) yet I she wasn't in the first movie and apparently looking at the cast for the second movie she was in (but clearly not with the kind of role she had elsewhere) yet I didn't remember her. She was always with Flint in the cartoon and Flint isn't a no-name. She was one of the most seen female character in the cartoon, except for Baroness. I'm no GI Joe specialist by any stretch but I had no memory of Jinx. Reading on her it seems she was introduced later: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jinx_(G.I._Joe)but what does she have on Storm Shadow or Snake eyes? In comics or later cartoons maybe she had her time but why do you need to create a female version of other solid characters? On top of that she can't have the presence of Baroness. I might have been wrong but my point was those characters might have been included (more than added as I thought) just to fill some requirements more than to actually give them a key part in the story. It looks like it's the same thing with that Zorro movie.

I was going to ask what the time period was—future Robin Hood? Alien Robin Hood? This really looks and feels more like a Sci-Fi channel show if that trailer is any indication.
