It's so good. Ok it's not great or anything, but at least it's a 'film'. If you know what i'm saying.
What do you think about, the Police Academy, the first one.

Funny as hell, but I'll admit I enjoy the entire franchise, even though they basically recycled the same jokes in movie after movie.

Funny franchise that never took itself seriously.

When I was 8 I liked it. I think I'd still maybe have it top 100 of the 80's.

Great comedy. The best in the series. The whole series is was a major part of my childhood. They are all good fun goofy comedies.
Part 7 is pretty lame though. The gags are mostly unfunny physical slapstick.

I really enjoyed Police Academy 1 and 2, just silly fun. They're good movies for when you just want to watch something mildly entertaining but don't want to have to think.
I've only seen parts of the sequels after 2.

It has some funny moments, but I never understood why such an average film would spawn six sequels!

I Absolutely Loved that 1 Moment in the First "POLICE ACADEMY" Movie when towards the end, those 2 Idiot Cops working for Lieutenant Harris were running around looking for a place to hide from the violent mob of people and they accidentally run back into the Blue Oyster Bar. LOL!

I enjoyed the first few Police Academy films back in my teens. These days, I guess I would enjoy them more on a nostalgic level.

It has some funny moments, but I never understood why such an average film would spawn six sequels! They had shoestring budgets and made money.
