A Wrinkle in time, which needs more than 200 million to break even. Looks like Disney will take a loss of about 50 million plus when all is said and done. Ouch!!!!!
Disney made a big issue out of the fact that it was the first 100 million dollar movie to directed by a black woman. The movie is taking a heavy beating overseas where it debuted outside the Top 5 in most countries. So far Russia is its biggest market with 6 million dollars. In the UK it couldnt even crack 1 million dollars in its opening weekend. Still no news if it will even be released in China.

And they just had two billion dollar hits, yeah I'm sure they're reeling in pain atm.

And they just had two billion dollar hits, yeah I'm sure they're reeling in pain atm. You're ignoring the subject here--We're talking about bombs, not their effect on a studio's bottom line, and both Wrinkle and Pacific Rim II each will lose between $50 million and $100 million---Wrinkle bombed overseas, and Pacific Rim II bombed here in the States(Boyega's third bomb in a row, not counting SW)

Admittedly, I'm amused how gleeful the OP is about it though.

YahooFinance just reported that A Wrinkle In Time lost between $86 million dollars and $186 million dollars--serves that stupid director right for changing everything, and lousy casting decisions with the young girl lead and Oprah
