So far I've only read one Ken Follett novel; The Third Twin. From what I remember it was pretty good. I might read more of his books in the future.

I've read a few of his books, The Kingsbridge Series (The Pillars of the Earth, World Without End and A Column of Fire as well as Fall of Giants.
There was a time I liked them, and his writing is still good, but when I revisited them some 10 years later I found them... well childish. It's simply good vs. evil tropes set in different settings. Where the good guys are heroic and charming, hardworking and smart and so forth while the closer to a snivelling, cowardly (reminds me of Frank Burns in the earlier MASH series, if anybody have seen them) and there's no end of what evil things they would be capable of.
I would much rather see flawed heroes or even better a believable antihero as the main character.

I remember enjoying 'The Eye of the Needle' years ago, movie wasn't bad either.
Enjoyed 'Pillars of the Earth' and 'World Without End'.
He's okay.

I read "the key to Rebecca" and didn't really like it. But I have really liked the Pillars of the earth series.

The Pillars of the Earth and World Without end were excellent. I read them years ago but i still think about them from time to time. Fall of Giants was a good read too.

I've read the Pillars of the Earth Books and the century ones and they were good. I also read one about Ross Perot's company during the Iranian revolultion that was hard to get through.

I'm somewhere in the middle of The Pillars of the Earth right now. It's been downloaded onto my Kindle for quite a while but the size has always put me off, but I decided to make a start on it whilst on holiday this week. It's somewhat of a potboiler, with predictable plot turns and simplistic prose - but it's also an absolute page turner, and I am thoroughly hooked on Follett's characters and storytelling. Truly a transporting read, so far anyway.

I've only read one of his books so far....Hornet Flight.
I liked it enough a lot. I plan to read more of his books.
