Depends what you mean by "favorite." and btw X-men is Marvel, might be separate presently due to ownership rights, but it very much is the same universe. Universe that has produced the best movies? Lord of the Rings. Universe with my favorite characters? Marvel + X-Men (though Gandalf > all) Universe I'd most like to explore/live in? Star Wars. I disagree about the X-Men and the MCU. In the movie world they are two completely separate franchises that take place in two separate universes that don't crossover. Kind of like how Nolan's trilogy takes place in a separate world than all the other DC movies. Agreed, Marvel's Cinematic Universe and Fox's X-Men films are completely separate entities. I thought everyone knew that.

Eventually one day the movies will crossover too.
