I want a bright Superman suit with red shorts and I’m not sure about Henry Chavill. He’s ok but maybe there’s someone better.

Or they are going past making the suit Kryptonian garb and has his mother make it and she's really into wrestling.

I mean the underwear. Speedos. It’s his iconic look and it’s stupid to get rid of them.

You'd have to explain it in some way if he's just randomly wearing them. You don't have to have the person explain it. Do something like if Martha is the one to make the suit, have her watching wrestling at some point. If he gets the suit from the scout ship show the Kryptonians dressed like that. You don't make it so that he's randomly wearing shorts with his suit for no reason. Hell, make it a design in the suit and not an extra garment on the suit like in the Reeve movies.

That’s if it’s even a sequel to the Man of Steel. I wouldn’t be surprised if a Flashpoint changes things up or it could be a reboot which doesn’t cover the origin, like Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Homecoming kinda piggybacked off of the Amazing series.
I think if DC was smart they wouldn't try to Flashpoint the universe. I think they should anthology it. Make the current movies the end of that world. For the Harley Quinn movie coming up you can either continue that would from the PoV of Harley or make her slightly different. Make the entire movie-verse an actual multiverse or even Elseworlds. None of the 52 Earths thing.

*Cavill* And wasn't it brighter in Justice League? I can't recall.

*Cavill* And wasn't it brighter in Justice League? I can't recall. Probably it was. Anyway, as iconic as the original look for Superman is, I don't think it would age well in today's standards, especially with the red shorts.

Eh, if it's presented as like body armor or something, maybe they'd get away with it. Then again, not sure if his junk needs protection.
