.... Goddamn it. Stupid FOX canceling this show. I don't know the likelihood, but man, I hope the CW snaps this up.
This finale was everything I wanted and more.
Dan was great dealing with his grief, cracking the case.
Maze fighting through 12 guards and four miles, drugged, to protect Linda.
Man, that fight scene with Lucifer and his wings. Chloe finally knows the truth! And just as his devil face comes back, unbeknownst to Lucifer. It's just so fucking good, I want more!

Yeah a great episode hope we get more, plz god let there be more...you bastard, What I like an I'm hoping it's not been explained just incase we do get more of the series but why did Lucifer's devil face return? was it because he killed a mortal? was it because he actually led a soul to hell for once, or in that moment has Lucifer lost his faith in himself and feels like the monster once more?
I loved also when Lucifer was talking to Ella and for once defended his father, a nice switch from Ella always being the one with faith in god and Lucifer demonising him for him to defend god in her moment of doubt about he big guy.
Also loved Dan & Lucifer reacting to one another when Dan reveals Pierce is the Sinner Man for Lucifer to reveal Pierce came clean to him months ago, Dan's anger and Lucifer's response to grab Dan by the throat to then hug him so no one knew exactly what was going on made me laugh.

I think it it's the last theory; the running idea through this episode and the last was that they've been responsible for what they become and even if they go to heaven or hell. I think that's a fantastic idea; and when Chloe confronts Lucifer about supposedly talking in metaphors and telling him she doesn't think he's the monster he makes himself out to be, he agrees that he hasn't felt that way lately. So it's possible he feels more monster than angel when condemning Cain.
It does open up a few questions; I'd it possible then that Lucifer is only vulnerable around Chloe because she makes him feel vulnerable? If Lucifer became a monster because it was a manifestation of his inner turmoil and psyche, what about demons who start as demon? Could Maz transcend who or what she is to become something more because of her experiences; which presumably has been the point of her arc?

One thing I didn't quite get. Why did Maze think Linda was in danger?

Last week Pierce told her that his fail safe if she failed to kill Amenadiel, was he was sending someone to kill Linda; which caused her to drop her guard long enough to inject her with the sedative, and was the last thing she heard.

Oh, I missed that line. I must have been too wrapped up in the fight scene. Thanks.
