Seriously? I always get really when someone says something I disagree with. I was wondering if some people are finding they are controlled by an invisible force which forces them to read and whine about threads they didn't like? I find that I am able to not read such threads and hadn't really given it much thought until now. I assumed it would be the same for everyone else.  |

Is this a trick question? Not really. It is clearly an issue for some people. I imagine charzhino returns to the bookstore and torches the bookshelves containing all copies of any novel he hasn't enjoyed reading. |

I've been asking this question since I joined here. People become obsessed with users they don't like and opinions they disagree with. I don't understand it. A lot of people take comic book movies that they didn't write, direct or produce VERY seriously! Nobody is forced to read or participate in threads they want nothing to do with. I find the arrogance of a person who thinks a thread (which a number of people are happily contributing to) should be locked, simply because he/she doesn't like it, absolutely staggering. |

Too true and for real "fun" (not) Try pointing out to a Games and Trivia player that the old IMDb has closed and that things are set up differently here so the old "rules" just don't apply any more. ... a simple thing like that can make for over a year of being pestered, shadowed, insulted, threatened and needled (rather like those little no-seeums that always bite you behind the ear .. small but annoying !) |

I have no horse in this particular race BUT I enjoy reading the funny posts of the Squid Crew even tho' I usually have NO IDEA what they are going on about. The fun of late though has been pot-stirred into something else and as scabab said, "it's taking a more aggressive turn as it goes on and we don't need any of that."
