A good show but I’m sick of Adam Sandler productions always relying rock songs to fill in major holes in the shows. Every single movie Sandler was in used classic great rock songs to fill spots in order to make the scene seem so much better. Now he’s doing it with The Goldbergs. Like three times per episode. It’s the songs that are good, not the scene. I caught on to his act a long time ago.

I think that Adam Goldberg wanted that too, since the songs are usually written into the episode. Sometimes, the episode is written around a song.

This is one show I thought I would love because it had Wendi McClendon-Covey(loved her in Reno 911) and George Segal in it but I couldn't get past the first few episodes. This family is just too obnoxious. I still give it try from time to to time but it still hasn't grabbed me.

I think the show should end. The kid is too old now and his voice is like nails on a chalk board.
