Both great, but Ragnarok was wacky fun that I can watch over and over again. Gotta give the edge to Korg and the gang.

Thor 3 by a decent margin. So much fun and easy to watch multiple times. One of my very favorite MCU movies.
BP was good too, but seemed more generic like Dr Strange. Maybe I'll watch it again sometime.

Ragnarok was more fun to me, so that. BP was great as well.

Ragnarok because Thor, Hulk, Loki, & Valkyrie get a nice Guardians style ensemble romp while Civil War is happening on Earth. As a bit of a completist for my personal favs, it allows Thor & Hulk to keep up a bit with Rogers & Stark.
What can I say, I'm more emotionally attached to those characters than newer Black Panther.

Blank Panther backlash already? it just been a couple months. There was backlash the second it came out. "People like an entry of a well-liked franchise...but the lead isn't a white guy. Boosters!" Though a lot of people just seem to prefer the jokier MCU movies, which I can understand. I just gravitate more toward the more serious ones like BP and Winter Soldier.

Black Panther it was a more serious movie. Shitnerok is the worst Thor movie yet,at least the first two had potential but were badly executed. Shitnerok waa just a comedy and didn't have Darcy in it,she was the best character.

Interesting because Ragnarok is the best received Thor movie yet by both critics, general movie goers and comic fans alike. And if Darcy was in it you wouldn't be complaining about the humor at all, unless she was the one cracking jokes - you hypocrite. And Darcy was the best character because...? And if you're going to say "she was interesting and did things" then what made her so special what exactly did she contribute again? Oh yes, she contributed humor which you are ironically complaining about with Ragnarok.

Well it doesn't really matter which one was serious. Given BP had a preachy and outdated political message, slow pace, bad CGI, bad fight choreography, it didn't move the MCU forward and when it tried to be funny the jokes were worse than Ragnarok. It's still had a good plot, showed empowerment to the black community, good acting, an emotional villain and that it was still a solid 8/10 movie. I'll admit Ragnarok overdid it with the humor but I would say it was a 8.2/10 regardless I would have rated it 9 or 9.5/10 if it wasn't for the tone and over use of comedy. Also I agree the jokes in Ragnarok weren't that funny but I just tend to ignore hem so that I don't become to bothered by them while still acknowledging them as a flaw.

The Dark World is a movie i really rate but Ragnaraok is a deconstruction of that so thats why I dont like it. Its not just the comedy, its everything else. Making Thor a constant joke machine, getting rid of his hair and Shakespearean speech, getting rid of his hammer, getting rid of Lady Sif and the warriors three, disposing of Thor-Janes relationship in a flippant way for a cheap laugh, getting rid of Odin and wasting the epic reveal at the end of TDW, regressing Lokis character and ultimately getting rid of the noble, majestic tone of the previous entries in favour for light heartedness. I understand why they did it because people werent big on Thor or his movies. But those who liked them, Ragnarok is a slap in the face.

I agree it deconstructed Thor's character but that's really if you loved how Thor was portrayed previously. I was open to something a little new but I wish he did act less like he did in Ragnarok and more like he did in Infinity War. Which is why I had taken points off for the deconstruction Thor's character. I feel BP did something similar with T'Challa as he felt less interesting, less powerful and in general overshadowed by Killmonger so while not deconstructed many people agreed he wasn't as awesome in BP as he was in CW.

Thor fangirl of course likes Ragnarok.
It's my least fav Thor which go descending. I expected the first to suck but it was wonderful. The second was good in exploring the brothers' relationship & highlighting Mjolnir. The 3rd was fun, but we didnt need to destroy Mjolnir. I felt in places the director doesn't get Thor.
BP felt a bit bloated/self important. I'm sure that is what some loved about it, but it wasn't as fun as a Marvel movie shoukd be.

You're not allowed to say that. That's racist. You must now send Bob Iger a check for $20.
