I recently became interested in animals and how they became the way they are. I understand the idea of evolution but I've never really looked deep into it.
I watched an episode of Nature on PBS and they played the episode Owl Power. It was really interesting how different Owls are from other birds. How they fly slower. How one of their ears are lower than the other. The fact that their eyes make up like 70% of their skull. And the fact their face is shaped like a radar dish. I bet that example will come up in another book I own Ralph Nader's Animal Envy.
I read the introduction and I can tell Charles Darwin was a true scientist. He feels bad about publishing something he felt was incomplete work though was pressured to do so because of his failing health.
