What are Your own Number 1 Favorite "HANNIBAL LECTER" Scene in Each of Just the 3 Anthony Hopkins Movies ("THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS", "HANNIBAL", and "RED DRAGON") ?
For an Example, Here are My own Answers Below!
THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS - The Ending when Hannibal Lecter tells Clarice that He is having an old friend for dinner and then he sees Dr. Chilton step off of the plane.
HANNIBAL - The Plane Scene at the End.
RED DRAGON - The Beginning when Graham first captures Lecter. ------------------------------------ What about everybody else here ?

I really cannot think of one just right now. Not because I do not think there are any but it have been such a long time since I last saw the ones with Anthony Hopkins, however my favorite Hannibal Lecter scene was first featured in Michael Mann's Manhunter (1986) with Brian Cox in a very chilling part as Dr. Lecter (here I think it was spelled Lecktor).

Finally a series I am a big fan of and can actually remember every scene in all 3 movies.
The Silence of the Lambs - Clarice Starling's first visit with Hannibal Lecter
Hannibal - The scene when Hannibal Lecter is talking about the inspector's ancestors
Red Dragon - The scene when Will Graham is going through the first murder scene with his tape recorder (also my favorite scene in Manhunter)

"Red Dragon" and "Hannibal" were not very good, IMO. "Silence of the Lambs" - there were some good scenes. Maybe the part where you think Clarice is safe, but with the trick camera cutting, you find out she just rang Jamie Gumb's doorbell! That was scary! My favorite by far of the series is 1986 "Manhunter", and I have several favorite scenes. 1. First scene with Brian Cox as Lektor 2. Second scene with Brian Cox 3. Scene with Will Graham and son at the supermarket, so simple in a way, but it also says so much. Very moving scene between father and son. The way the young boy sort of intuitively knows to change the subject for his dad's sake is heartrending. 4. Scene where Will Graham brilliantly pieces everything together at the end and figures out who, what, where and when, etc. The music, especially, makes the scene so intense. 5. The dream sequence where Will is dreaming of carefree days with his wife, they are on a big sailboat and it's just romantic and serene. And there's that 80s synth music that I can't seem to get enough of. 6. The scene where the Tooth Fairy (with Joan Allen in bed) is crying and covers his face up. I don't know if he's crying because he feels like maybe finally has a chance at something like a normal, loving relationship, or because he is hit with the kinds of horrific acts he's done in the past and realizes that he is probably beyond redemption. Anyway, I can bleed out hearts with the best of them and personally I found the Tooth Fairy to be a tragic character.

Agreed. I'll take Manhunter over all the Hopkins ones.

After Lecter's escape from prison, where he pretends to be the injured security guard and is transported in the ambulance.
