How funny are the Deadpool movies compared to the funnier MCU movies?
Surprisingly, I didn't find the DP movies that funny. There a few good funny scenes but for the most part it relied more on slapstick humor rather than witty humor which really isn't my thing.
How bout you?

They're different kinds of humor. One is PG13 and has to rely on wit to get its point across, and the other is R which allows them to go to raunchier places.
One could argue that by going R they are actually curtailing their ability to be "smart" in their use of humor. Its easier to make dick jokes and sight gags than it is to make you think. However, I did enjoy both Deadpool movies and I hope to see more.

It's funny how, because Deadpool is R, they ended up with jokes that seemed more immature. Not that I didn't enjoy the DP movies, just that they weren't as funny as they seemed to think they were.

Deadpool humour is satire comedy.
MCU humour is just dumbed down to appeal to kids.

Well it's a comedy first and foremost whereas most MCU movies just have comedy in it.
The closest comparison would be Guardians of the Galaxy which is funny but not Deadpool funny.
So to me I'd say it's a lot funnier than any MCU movie.

What I really like about the Deadpool movies is that the got the "tone" of the character(s) right. You believe that Deadpool would really act like that IRL.
Also that they seem to course correct a few things that were done in other movies. In DP1 they got Colossus RIGHT. In DP2 they got Juggernaut RIGHT. And Cable.
Domino was a little off, but I like me some Zazie Beets XOXOXO

I love the humor in Deadpool plus its part of his character Humor is also part of Spider-Man's character, Star Lord's character, Tony Stark's character, Rocket Raccoon's character, Groot's character, Ant-Man's character, and Doctor Strange's character genius yet you want them all to be basically stone cold serious, like Frank Castle.

DP humour is funnier because its aimed at adults and the jokes themselves are more intelligent.
Funny the MCU kids dont like Deadpool comedy yet love MCU-Disney generic quips.

MCU humor is aimed at children and adults.
Deadpool's humor is aimed at people between ages 13 to 16.
I like both though.
