It's ironic how detractors of the MCU who frequency cite its overuse of humor as its achilles heel are now swooning over DP's potty humor.

DP humour is funnier because its aimed at adults and the jokes themselves are more intelligent. Funny the MCU kids dont like Deadpool comedy yet love MCU-Disney generic quips. DP jokes are aimed at adults but it is definitely not more intelligent. Pretty much this.

DP jokes are aimed at adults but it is definitely not more intelligent. Pretty much this. It looks as though most of the humor in Deadpool 2 was improvised. And it shows.

MCU humor is aimed at children and adults. Deadpool's humor is aimed at people between ages 13 to 16. I like both though. Negasonic Teenage Warhead is too mature to find Deadpool amusing.

I love the humor in Deadpool plus its part of his character Would you like to see Kat Dennings in a DP movie? ![](https://s26.postimg.cc/c2f5tody1/hehe.gif) Yes as the new mystique or Scarlett Witch.

It looks as though most of the humor in Deadpool 2 was improvised. And it shows. There's a scene where they're all in the cab and Cable says something hostile to Deadpool and Brolin literally starts laughing as he leans back in his seat. I love that they left that in the final cut.

Thank god Thor only acted like that 3 times in the movie. DP acted in similar fashion throughout his movies.

Its one of the bits where the director didnt get the character Thor has never been shown to care about his hair. He's not Samson. But Deadpool does the joke about everything rather than get serious/mask emotions thing. Reminds me of my schizophrenic nephew-in-law. Made juvenile jokes all the time when he wasnt attacking people of color he had an irrational fear of.

DP humor is more self-aware and parodic, whereas MCU humor is more innocent and practical. There really isn't that much to compare.
Although, seeing how the DP movies are traditionally action-comedies, I think the humor in those films work better. That's just me.

I guess it depends which MCU movie you're comparing it to. I think Deadpool is funnier than, say, Ant Man but not funnier than, say, Ragnorockers.

They both have jokes that I either like or ones where I'm like "really? Was that necessary?"
But that's just me.

Dennings is not on the level of Brolin as a performer, and isn't convincing as either an action heroine or anti-heroine, nor would she be a good fit for either of the characters you are suggesting her for.

Also Josh Brolin as Thanos has way more sex appeal than Dennings. ![](https://i.redd.it/zrv26isvy0011.png)

Deadpool's humor is almost always on point and flat out hilarious imo . I found myself dying laughing at most of his humor. (ditto on the rest of the audiences I saw it with. They were loving it! ) The MCU though? Meh, more times than not, the humor falls flat. For example, I hated how they turned Thor 3 into a lame slap stick comedy. I will say a good amount of the humor & character interaction worked quite well in IW . So I don't completely hate their use of humor. But it doesn't come close to comparing to Deadpool's humor. The 1st one & esp the 2nd one had the audiences laughing thru out it quite a bit.

I find it irritating in the extreme and I was literally forced to walk out of the first one 45 minutes into the presentation. I'm not even going to bother with this newest iteration. My loss I suppose... Hee hee hee...
