Flash Gordon is fun, entertaining, and re-watchable. MOTU is only worth seeing once.

I'll have to go with Flash Gordon. It has more entertaining characters, action bits and a Queen soundtrack.

Love both, but Flash gets my vote.

Flash Gordon has more to offer but it feels like apples and oranges to me because Masters of the Universe is cheaper, and more serious.
Masters is what Transformers should have used as its template, since it is essentially the same idea, but done better (and cheaper).

Flash Gordon, while cheesy, still feels like an enjoyable space opera and a genuine attempt to adapt the source material. MOTU looks like a student film made by someone with virtually no familiarity with the source material and a $450 budget.
