For All of the Fans Here of the First "TREMORS" Movie, What are your own Top 3 Favorite Scenes in it ?
For an Example, Here are My own Top 3 Favorites Below!
1. When Burt (Michael Gross) and Heather (Reba McEntyre) kill the Graboid that broke into their Basement.
2. When Val (Kevin Bacon) tricks the Final Graboid into going right off of the cliff and down to it's death.
3. When Val (Kevin Bacon) runs to get The Kat and Trailer to save the Others in the Town and the 2 Graboids go chasing after him after the decoy cart fails.

1. Finding Edgar perched dead on the electrical tower. I love horror stuff like that where the imagination fills in the blanks/runs wild.
2. Old Fred found buried alive. Same idea.
3. Burt & Heather's basement shootout. That was such a cartoony moment yet such a fun payoff.
Alas, the film's great horror setups evolved into a comedy. Still a very good movie, would make my top 300.

Station Wagon getting buried
Ned (I think his name was) getting sucked through a stack of tires. For some reason that kill always stuck with me.

I'm going to go with your 1 and 2 picks. My other one is when they are stuck on the rock and pole vault to get away, (How did those long poles just happen to end up there?) and escape in the truck. "Um guys? Help me get back up." Great and fun movie with great and fun lines. When they leave and Burt laments about his survival home... Burt Gummer: Food for five years, a thousand gallons of gas, air filtration, water filtration, Geiger counter. Bomb shelter! Underground... God damn monsters. [Burt cuts off a piece of fuse for a bomb for Earl] Earl Bassett: What kind of fuse is that? Burt Gummer: Cannon fuse Earl Bassett: What the hell do you use it for? Burt Gummer: My cannon! Burt Gummer: Broke into the wrong goddamn rec room, didn't ya you bastard! Earl Bassett: Stupid son-of-a-bitch, knocked itself cold! Valentine McKee: Cold, my ass, he's dead! We killed it. We killed it! *Fuuuck you!* Valenting shows them a map and I'm paraphrasing: They got this guy here. These two over here. And this one here. This valley is just one long smorgasbord! Earl Bassett: [yelling] AHHH! AHHH! Valentine McKee: What? What is it? Earl Bassett: Damn prairie dog burrow. Valentine McKee: Sons a bitches. |
