Do you think of the monster or the doctor? It refers to the doctor but some use it to refer to the monster.

Guess i remembered it wrong Mary Shelley's original novel never ascribes an actual name to the monster; although when speaking to his creator, Victor Frankenstein, the monster does say "I ought to be thy Adam" (in reference to the first man created in the Bible). Victor refers to his creation as "creature", "fiend", "spectre", "the demon", "wretch", "devil", "thing", "being", and "ogre en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankenstein%27s_monster

It used to be the monster, but by now I've heard so many people say 'it's the doctor not the monster' in movies, tv shows, interviews or in posts on the internet that I think of both.
