Nobody else was bringing up this subject and I was just busting, too. My number one favorite, go to childhood program.
My favorites (in order)
1. Sabrina Duncan - she is the charismatic, confident natural leader of the group. She has a terrific, sharp sense of humor and, although she is definitely an attractive female, she resorts on her wits and her brains, not her (slightly less flashy) beauty to do her job. And Kate Jackson is superlative during the 3 years she spent as Sabrina Duncan. Her line readings were fresh and believable and compelling, and sometimes, honestly, I just wanted to listen to her talk. She also made me laugh a lot. I think my favorite of her undercover guises were as Sabrina Walker, the unhinged nutjob in "Dancing in the Dark", Also loved her Brooklyn shady character, Sabrina Lampone, she is so quick talking, she would take everybody by surprise. My third favorite would be when she plays her (fictional) sister, Sandy Brewster on the episode "Counterfeit Angels", one of 3rd seasons best episosdes! "OHHH, would ya look at this! I'm noivous and I'm all outta gum!" Hilarious. And Kate had delightful comic timing; she was always a step ahead of everybody else. Sabrina is also, I believe, the most sentimental Angel of the bunch, and I love that about her. I think she is the warmest one of the bunch. And I liked her turtleneck sweaters, damnit!
2. Jill Munroe - radiant, stunning to look at, effervescent and devastating charm. And, for the demands of this role, Farrah Fawcett-Majors was perfection. She had a nice, lightweight comic gift. There will never be another one like her. I wished she'd never left after the first season.
3. Kelly Garrett - sweet, beautiful, lovely, ultra feminine and vulnerable. Jaclyn Smith was actually best suited for her role during its first season as she was best as "3rd banana" where she had the other two girls, who were in some ways stronger, to protect her. (Also, Jaclyn was, after Shelley Hack, the weakest actress of the bunch.) My estimation of Kelly Garrett as my number three Angel is strictly in regards to her 1st season appearance, where she was near perfect. I grew a bit less fond of her as the show progressed.
4. Tiffany Wells - one of TV land's great underdogs. She was barely an actress, but she was always a good sport and had humility that was endearing and was actually quite likeable, even sweet. She lacked charisma, which underplayed her good looks, but she was very pretty.
5. Julie Rogers - I love Julie and could easily have switched her with Tiffany for number four favorite. It just depends on the day of the week, I guess. If any of the Angels rivalled Kelly in beauty, it was Julie. Plus Julie had the best body and was really the only of the six who had definite sex appeal. She was not a bad actress, sometimes she could be very funny. And I think this was also part of who Tanya Roberts was as an individual, self-deprecating, sweet and genuine. She also had some of the underdog element. And she could be a little bit dingy, which I find sometimes very appealing. My friend and I sometimes call her "The Stoner Angel". lol
6. Kris Munroe - It's all there, of course. Pretty face, great body, bubbly personality (at least for the second season, where I liked her best. After Kate Jackson left, Cheryl was forced to pick up the slack, which invoked some of her less savory personality traits, i.e., she could be a little bitchy) and Cheryl Ladd was a good actress. But to me, she's the blandest one on the show. There's a kind of efficiency about her that produces something somewhat dehydrating.
