I'll start with some of the obvious ones. I'd like to combine as many nominations as possible for a poll.
I may not have the quotations precise, so if anyone corrects them, I'll edit the corrections in later.
1. Just a hunch, Winchester. Will Rogers never met you.
2. I can get you a deal on one thousand rolls of toilet paper I happen to be sitting on right now
3. (not funny, but meaningful, as it put BJ in his place, and BJ was a character even more self righteous than Burns and Winchester) Maybe you have lost more than the rest of us, Honeycutt, but that's only because you have more to lose.

Not a line, but funny: Potter shoots his jeep after Frank runs over it with a tank.

"That'll teach you eggheads not to screw around with intelligence!"

Not a line, but funny: Potter shoots his jeep after Frank runs over it with a tank. Many of Potter's funny lines and scenes came directly from the old jokes of old books. You'll find a lot of them in the Reader's Digest joke book published over 60 years ago, maybe older than that. I'm convinced Henry Morgan prompted the use of these jokes since they appeared after his arrival. Even if he was to deny it, I wouldn't believe him. Twice I've had that joke book, and twice it's been pilfered. I think it's soon to be a collector's item, if not already.
