What is the best TV drama episode in the last 25 years?
For me, it's The Winds of Winter from Game of Thrones. I haven't seen the final season of Breaking Bad yet, so I don't know if an episode from that season, for example 'Ozymandias', will become my new favorite episode.

The question is way to general. Cant compare comedy to drama. Cant really compare the different eras. You might consider rephrasing the question something like Best Drama Episode in the past 25 years. That being said GOT would have several episodes in my top five.

That might indeed be a better question, I'll change the subject.

Six Feet Under is one of the best drama series ever. It still is considered to have the greatest ending to any series in TV history. Way better than Sopranos or Dexter's ending

I actually agree with the OP. Game of Thrones wins for me and The Winds of Winter was 10/10 fantastic.

Vincent D'Onfrio's Homicide: Life On The Street episode was the finest hour of TV I've ever watched.

I haven't seen the final season of Breaking Bad yet, I want to trade lives. I SO wish I hadnt seen final season of Breaking Bad. There are some amazing episodes there for sure. I wish I had not watched all of it, and saved one episode for later in life… I have one Sherlock and one IT Crowd episode tucked away like this. I will watch those on my death bed. Something to look forward to when you are dying, I guess. Now I just hope I dont get hit by a car and die quickly somewhere, cause boy, I would be pissed. My last thoughts would be "omg, now I will never know what happened in the finale of IT Crowd and in the Abominable Bride! Heaven will now be hell for me!"

Hate to be the cliche but mine really is Ozymandias. I still remember the feeling after watching it, my heart was beating really fast and I felt really tense.

Im gonna say Euphoria from House season 2
The acting was excellent and the whole idea of truly revealing why House doesn't see his patients is revealed and it's not because of the puzzle but because if he sees them he cares and is afraid of loosing objectivity which is part of his gift.
We see House caring for the first time for a patient who happened to be one of his teammates.
There is also a lot of suspense and emotional moments also the solution of the episode is incredible.

The finale to Six Feet Under is the best episode of television I have ever seen. I was a wreck after finishing that.

Have you guys ever seen the Shield finale? It was balls to the wall insane. I love The Shield and the finale for it was a perfect end to that show. And I love the fact every season of The Shield got better and better as it went along. For me though, I had an emotional attachment to every character in Six Feet Under unlike any show I've ever seen before, so its always going to have the best finale IMO.
