What is your own Number 1 Favorite Scene in Each of the " STAR WARS" Movies ? Episode 1 - The opening scene. It was the first time we had seen a Star Wars movie in many years. It felt familiar but completely original at the same time. That scene reminds me every time of that feeling of being in the movie theater watching it. Episode 2 - Obi-Wan vs. Jango Fett. Jango's fighting style (cheap, brutal hand-to-hand shots) was completely different than other characters we had seen in a Star Wars movie. I can appreciate that. Episode 3 - The Opera scene. George Lucas gets a lot of flack for his dialogue but the lines he wrote for Palpatine/Anakin in that scene great. Rogue One - Tarkin's first appearance. Episode 4 - Luke Skywalker looking at the two suns. Episode 5 - The reveal that the little, strange green creature living in a swamp is actually a powerful Jedi Master. Episode 6 - Luke's refusal in the throne room to join The Emperor. He would rather be tortured with electrocution than turn from his friends/family and his beliefs. I've always admired Luke's determination to do what is right and good for the galaxy. In our world, people who choose good over evil are uninteresting. They're viewed as "boring" and "uncool" in the eyes of others. Hell, even children predominately choose to dress up as the Star Wars villains over the heroes for Halloween. People often are rewarded for being corrupt/doing terrible things in our world as well. They choose the easy route (just look at any politician or person in power). It's easy to be evil. It takes strength and character to be good. The above scene from Episode 6 reminds me of what Luke Skywalker stands for. He deserved the title of, 'A New Hope.' Episode 7 - The Stormtroopers shooting up villagers at the beginning of the movie. They actually hit their targets! The only thing that would have made it better is if it was Endor and the Ewoks were on the receiving end. Not because I hate the Ewoks but as it would send a strong message in the narrative that The First Order were seeking their revenge for the past. Episode 8 - Luke and Leia together was the only good scene in that terrible movie. Solo - I don't know and I don't care.

THE PHANTOM MENACE - Light Saber Fight (one of the best fights ever)
ATTACK OF THE CLONES - Shmi's death and Anakin using dark side to wipe out the sand people (including Yoda hearing Qui Gon Jin calling out to Anakin via the Force)
REVENGE OF THE SITH - Order 66 or Opera Scene
The Clone Wars: all scenes with Asaji Ventress
A NEW HOPE - Binary Sunset
THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK - No, I'm your Father
RETURN OF THE JEDI - Speeder Bike Scene
THE FORCE AWAKENS - Rey's introduction & Finding Luke
ROGUE ONE - Your father would be proud (its close to the genius of Order 66-montage IMO in picture and music)
THE LAST JEDI - Luke & Leia unite and Luke-trolls-Kylo "fight" (I know it's a rip off of Esc from LA)
SOLO - When Qi'ra contacts Darth Maul (cheesy² but it gave me goose bumps - duel of the fates music too)

Episode 1: Darth Maul vs Obi and Qui. The Duel of Fates is such an epic piece of music.
Episode 2: Geonosis Arena Battle. Seeing hundreds of Jedi in action was an awesome theater experience!
Episode 3: Palpatine theater scene with Anakin. Ian Mcdiarmid is such a gem.
Episode 4: Twin Suns with the beautiful score.
Episode 5: Vader Reveal. Hard scene to top.
Episode 6: The entire throne room sequence. Especially the close up shot of Vader face when he's watching Luke torture.
Episode 7: Han and Chewie entrance.
Episode 8: Luke and Leia meeting.
Rogue One: Vader going horror movie on Rebels.
Solo: I guess Maul cameo?
