Movies Plus
End of my block in a strip plaza. Was there before I was old enough to know the world. Remember picking out VHS for babysitting nights. NES titles were a plenty there. Laserdiscs had a solid run with them, we used to marvel at them as kids. Adult section took over a 1/5th of the store early 90's. SNES library wasn't very creative, lots of generic stuff but we rented because different.
I think I did all my DVD renting at Blockbuster, alas was a 20 min car drive away. The last things I rented at Blockbuster were TV shows for bingeing.
What I remember most about Movies Plus which seems real quaint nowadays is the business card style membership card. I guess it was the renter's I.D.# into their system for late fees or worse.
