Pros - Sam Raimi’s energetic direction Terrific meld of horror and humor Bruce Campbell, obviously.
Cons - Not sure what works against its favor. Been among my favorites since 2003.

Pros: -One of the most fun films ever made, let alone in the horror genre. -Campbell delivers his best performance as Ash. Seeing his transition from being a wuss to an absolute badass was a treat indeed. -Memorable quotes. -Excellent gore effects.
Cons: -I know that they couldn't find the footage from the original movie, but I wished they'd make mention to the other 3 guys instead of just Ash and Linda to recap from the original. It makes the viewer confused. -The new characters are fairly forgettable, if not annoying.

It makes viewer confused Yeah, that'd be my only knock against it. When I first saw it, I thought Ash had memory loss and then wound up dating another girl named Linda. Lol. Something people don't really talk about is that Ash is worshipped as a god at the end when he goes back in time, but in AoD he starts off a prisoner. I think by then, the continuity had become part of the joke.

pros: Hi-fucking-larious! Creative directing!
con: Is it a sequel? Is it a prequel? Is it a reboot? Total tonal change from the first was Unexpected.
