Pros - Some good character beats and team interaction. Still, it's a long road before matching The Avengers.
Cons - Compared to BvS, the Batman here feels rather neutered. With a budget of over $200 million, still manages to look cheap. The schizophrenic tone. The Blu-ray needed a pop-up feature to tell us when Snyder was behind the camera or Whedon was. A villain so forgettable and lame. Terrible CGI. Superman, what they done to you?

Pros:
- Jason Momoa is having the time of his life.
- Flash's arc is satisfactory and economical.
- The League members fighting a revived Superman.
- Steppenwolf's battle with the Anazons is genuinely exciting.
- Even for a postcredit scene, Lex Luthor is much improved.
- Henry Cavill's Reeve impression.
Cons:
- It's short but too short for once.
- Steppenwolf is a terribly bland villain. Poor Ciaran Hinds.
- The CGI is far too inconsistent for the huge budget.
- No real role played by Darkseid.
- The Mother box being stolen so easily.
- Affleck doesn't seem like he's enjoying himself compared to BVS.

How much of the DC bashing is valid and how much because it's cool to go along with the crowd?

How much of the DC bashing is valid and how much because it's cool to go along with the crowd? Couldn't give a flying fcuk about crowds... I champion the likes of Prometheus, Jurassic Park III, Quantum of Solace... because they're solid great movies. Lions never ever concern themselves with sheep. My take stands - JL is a bad stupid movie.

Pros:
The first time I've liked the Cavill Superman
The scene with the League fighting revived Superman. Perhaps should have been the whole movie
I liked the League for the most part
Cons:
Boring villain with boring scheme. Terraforming Earth again?
I hated BvS, but how about acknowledging its existence? What happened to "Lois is the key" and the dirt raising on Supes' casket?
Obvious reshoots.

I think it's carried by Batman(Affleck) and Wonder Woman(Gal Gadot) for the most part as it's why it's above marvel movies in general. I would have listed Superman(Cavill) but he's got a smaller part. at the end of the day... while I have only seen it once so far, it's a movie ill re-watch from time-to-time which makes it better than most super hero movies as not many are worth re-watching here and there. p.s. and like ck100 said, Amy Adams is never a bad thing

How much of the DC bashing is valid and how much because it's cool to go along with the crowd? The crowd? More like their movies just stink. Justice League had a $200 million dollar budget and looked cheap as heck. Aquaman was worthless and dumb. Cyborg was dumb. Steppenwolf was just another villain in a long line of terrible DCEU villains like Enchantress, Lex, and Ares. The only pro for Justice League would be that it was better than Batman vs. Superman.

You pretty much covered it.
I could add many more Cons too, such as Robin Flash and Gothic Biker Aquaman.
It also bugged me that Bruce Wayne just kept going around telling everyone he is Batman. He tells Aquaman this within ear shot of the town people.
