Depends what they do with them. I thought it was of Arrow created the convoluted crime syndicate "The Quadrant" instead of using Intergang. But then all of that was executed incompetently anyway...

Well this week's episode did not show any indication of Intergang.

It did show two things: Jack and Shit.

I remember them in Lois and Clark but don't remember them having technology from space. Was that added later?

No. Intergang has always had tech from Apokolips.

I don't know about the comics but if I recall in Lois and Clark they were just gangsters and didn't have any space tech. I do remember them having some kind of homing bullets in 1 episode that they used to threaten Superman's friends. "Even you can't be in 2 places at once but our bullets can."

The Intergang we saw in 'Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman' was quite different than the Intergang in the comic books and I think that was one of the reasons they were allowed to use them 'cause Warner Bros blocked them from using a lot of Superman's other villains in the show and looking at some interviews with the producers of 'Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman' they had plans to use a LOT of other villains in the show and for no good reason they kept getting blocked. It was disappointing 'cause 'Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman' was one of the most popular TV shows of the 90s getting 20-30 million viewers a week in the first three seasons and for all the complaints about Lex Luthor being overused and Superman's other villains not being well known having them as main villains on 'Lois and Clark' would have made them well known but Warner Bros stuffed it up. ![](https://s7.postimg.cc/l4w0ztpaj/electrikeplz.png)

Superman: The Animated series had one of the best takes on Intergang. I loved it when the head of Intergang, Bruno Mannheim met his mysterious benefactor.

This isn't just recent with the DCEU? Damn. Don't they ever learn to keep their noses out of other people's business?

No. Because they're always quick to blame someone else instead of accepting their mistakes.

Warner Bros are to blame for a lot of the problems with DC on screen and always have been 'cause they interfere in so many things and want to control them and what I don't get is why they are so hands on with DC but they let New Line Cinema go. New Line Cinema has been the home of some of the biggest and most successful Horror movies of all time and looking at the recent success of movies like 'It' Warner Bros don't seem to be ruining that. Although New Line Cinema started out as an independent company and it was the success of 'A Nightmare On Elm Street' that made it big and they were bought out later by Warner Bros. Maybe they aren't as hands on 'cause they already proved they didn't need them to have success. ![](https://s9.postimg.cc/ddun3ghbj/shaymin_by_creepyjellyfish-d7a491j.gif)

I haven't watched many of the 'Superman' animated TV shows. I remember seeing the really old one from the 1940s when I was younger that had the "look up in the sky, it is a bird, it is a plane. It's Superman" line and that had a lot of villains that weren't in the comic books and I remember seeing one where Superman faced a dinosaur. ![](https://s7.postimg.cc/6bhdercaz/voodoll_sprite_by_bigrika-d2yyly7.gif)

You of all people need to see it. I mean, it's super heavy on Supergirl, but it is arguably THE most comprehensive and complex television adaptations of DC comics to date. It starting with Batman the Animated Series, we're talking a continuous continuity of the DC heroes spanning about 12 years and multiple shows - Batman, Superman, Batman and Superman, Batman Beyond, Static Shock, Justice League/Justice League Unlimited. I don't agree with some of their story choices, like what they had happy with Tim Drake, but there are a lot of amazing stuff. Darkseid brainwashed Superman and uses him to try and conquer Earth, setting the stage for some people not to trust Superman, even after he's freed of the mind control. And this perpetually feeds the dischord between Superman and Darkseid going forward; as Darkseid isn't just some potential threat to Earth, to Superman he's the one who seriously abused him and all of their encounters after that are deeply personal. "Apokalips... Now!" is an amazing two part episode. Kevin Conroy will forever be at the top of my list when ranking the best Batman; ditto Mark Hamill as the Joker. I loved the fact that this season Supergirl brought on the actor who voiced J'Onn on Justice League to play J'Onn's father. No matter whatever else they blundered at this year, that was simply brilliant.

I have watched ‘Batman: The Animated Series’ and I saw a lot of episodes of that show when they aired here on Channel 9 back in the 90s and I have also seen all the ‘Batman’ animated movies that came out around that time like ‘the Mask of the Phantasm’, ‘Batman and Mr Freeze: Sub Zero’ and ‘Mystery of the Batwoman’ but I don’t recall ever seeing the animated ‘Superman’ TV show you are talking about. I haven’t seen ‘Batman and Superman’, ‘Static Shock’ and ‘Justice League’ either but I saw some episodes of ‘Batman Beyond and ‘Justice League Unlimited’ on the Cartoon Network and I don’t think ‘Static Shock’ aired here. I will have to check out those shows and with us now being blocked from the American Amazon store we won’t be able to buy them from there but if I can find them on some other sites like JBHIFI or Fish Pond I will order them.
I like Kevin Conroy as Batman and Mark Hamill as the Joker especially in the ‘Arkham’ games and the ‘Arkham’ games are some of my favourite adaptions of Batman and I have played ‘Arkham Origins’, ‘Arkham Origins: Blackgate’, ‘Arkham Asylum’, ‘Arkham City’ and ‘Arkham Knight’ multiple times and have ‘Return to Arkham’ on X Box One which has ‘Asylum’ and City’ remastered with bonus things. I didn’t know the actor who played J'Onn's Father on ‘Supergirl’ played his voice in animation and I know him as Dixon from ‘Alias’ which is one of my favourite TV shows of all time. ![](https://image.ibb.co/fnvBHo/Torchic_Normal_Sprite.gif)

I really recommend Batman The Brave and The Bold. It's a lot lighter than Batman The Animated Series but is still a great show. It's a fun love letter to the Silver Age and has Batman working with a different hero each episode.

I was watching that after 'The Batman' ended on Channel 9 which I enjoyed but they only showed it for a few episodes and took it off completely. I think it is on the Cartoon Network now and I plan on watching it again sometime but we have been busy with other shows. ![](https://s9.postimg.cc/ic4z09o67/little_cat_iii_by_luisbc-d5xtdbe.gif)

Horror movies are cheaper to make than superhero movies so Warner Bros might not give a shit if the other has a few bombs but damn the money they waste on superhero movies makes me think they are not worth it and they could be feeding starving children instead of funding comic book movies of people in bright costumes. Do we need them?

Do we need them? That makes me think about a "jobs project" I've thought about recently, more as a flight of fancy than anything else. Imagine if a studio set out to just any random community and made one of their multi-million dollar movies, using locals as cast and crew; and then move on to someplace new and make a new movie. Everyone gets at least one shot in their life to play a lead and make a six figure salary. The vast majority of the movies would probably be stinkers, though who knows how many could achieve the status of "so bad it's good". There'd be more than a few movies that would probably be surprise hits (there's a lot of great talent in community theatre alone). Communities would get an infusion of cash, the people involved would get a nice chunk of change that might help them out, or give them a leg up. Again, this should be taken with a grain of salt. As business models go, this would probably not be sustainable. But it could be fun.
