You know, I know that I am in the minority on this one but I actually believe that both Catherine Tramell (Sharon Stone) and Beth Garner (Jeanne Tripplehorn) were the Killers in "BASIC INSTINCT".
I think that Tramell is 1 of the Killers for obvious reasons but when it comes to Garner, in that scene where Nick's (Michael Douglas) Partner Gus (George Dzundza) is killed in the elevator, right after the Hooded Killer appears in the elevator door and begins stabbing Gus , you can quickly see (at 0:33 in the video below) Jeanne Tripplehorn's chin and she is in a blonde whig. I really think that both Tramell and Garner were working together and were the Killers in the movie.

They probably used Tripplehorn in a wig in that scene because we're supposed to think she's the killer right afterward when Nick shoots her. I don't think the "plot" makes any sense if Beth and Catherine are both killers.

I edited My OP and Posted the Scene in it along with a much better description of the whole thing in My OP as well, Any chance you can give it a read and watch and tell me if you agree or not and what you think ? |
