Let me start off by saying that I prefer shows/movies that do NOT spoon feed me. Secondly, I can typically follow abstract plots. However, I'm 1/2 way through episode 5 and I still have no idea what's going on.
There is so much alternate reality within multiple-layered alternate realities, that I'm finding it difficult to weave a contiguous thread throughout the story.
I'm trying to give the show a chance in the hopes that there will be a payoff or some Ahh Hah moment. For those that have watched all of episodes 5 and 6...is it worth hanging in there? (NO spoilers, please!)
I'm not asking for you to explain the story to me. I'm just asking if the various arcs of the story will start to make sense after a while.
I'm sure if I re-watch the episodes, I'll pickup on plot points, clues, etc. that I missed the first time around. Maybe I'll do that at the end of the first season....if I make it that long....and if the story makes sense by that point.
Please note: I know nothing about Legion from the comic books or other sources.
Thanks!

I don't know. I've seen up to episode six and I just can't say if it's worth it or not All kidding aside though, if you've liked it so far, definitely keep it up. I'm really enjoying the confusion and mayhem. There are elements that I recognise from the comics (I've read a whole bunch of X-Men comics back in the day), or at least think I recognise. So even having read the comics doesn't necessarily give you many answers as to what the hell is happening. I think I still get it, though, definitely after seeing episode six. It's a hell of a ride, that alone makes it one of the best Marvel series I've seen so far. If it keeps it up, it will be my favourite one.

Thanks zieveraar.
Since my original post, I watched the rest of episode 5 and all of episode 6. I like the show, but I would like it better if I had a better grasp of what's going on. I suppose I need to be patient.

I'm a bit weary of just how much they will explain near the end of the season. I hope they won't explain everything openly and straightforward, that would ruin it imo.
We're experiencing everything almost the same way Legion lives his life. And that's what I like so much, we're as confused as he is.
I have a pretty straightforward theory so far, but I'm not sure if you want me to share it with you?

I don't want everything explained either. I would like to leave the 1st season hoping for a 2nd. It would be nice if a few main arcs were addressed, however. For now, I'll just watch the show unfold naturally and see what happens with the story. Thanks!!

It's a great show, very different from any other type of superhero show I've seen. The way the story is being told is very unique. Season 2 has been great so far, I'm curious as to what the big disaster in the future will be.
