I've seen this movie but when I watched the CinemaSins video of it today, I didn't recognize/remember any of the scenes except the cliff scene at the end. Total bore of a movie, with terrible CGI.

Hadn't seen it but I always lumped it with Sinister since the marketing made them seem similar to one another.

Sinister was much better.

Yeah, unfortunately the director brought some of that overly used and pretty weak CGI to his otherwise mostly successful IT adaptation.
Mama was ok, but I too can only really remember that there was that cliff imagery at the end, as far as memorable scenes go. I remember that there were feral girls that had been living on there own that Jessica Chastain had to adopt even though she was some super cool goth chick in a band. And there was the old touchstone of the spooky crayon drawings by the kids which we've scene a million times before.
Sinister was also not really anything special, but it was somewhat more original and effective. Not true of the second one, but still.

I remember quite liking this, yet oddly also don't remember anything about it.
Have to dig it out the dvd pile and have a rewatch.

The two young girl actresses were good, that's about it.

Same here. It's an okay horror flick though. I remember it having a pretty scary villain and the atmosphere was there. I much preferred the same director's It (2017) though.
