Not that I'm into the whole honours system / royal family, but for those that are, i.e. obviously Sir Kenny, richly deserved and embarrassingly well overdue.
Can't get my head around the fact that guys like Bradley Wiggins and Andy Murray (both of whom I really admire so no issues with them) got knighted so quickly after their crowning sporting achievements, whilst Dalglish, who could have been knighted for services to sport as a both a player and manager - before you even go into his charity work and the support he gave post Hillsborough to the victims families - was overlooked for years. Total disgrace.
