Pros - Michelle Pfeiffer Christopher Walken This shot -
Cons - Shows what can happen when a director is given full creative freedom Why does Gotham City look drastically different compared to what we saw in the 1989 film? Batman, even more so then the 1989 film, taking a backseat to the villains. The Red Triangle Gang getting the blueprints for the Batmobile. Even worse is Penguin controlling it in a kiddie-sized version of the Batmobile. Who made that for him?

Pros: -The dark atmosphere. -Great performances by the actors, esp Keaton, of course. -Christmas setting.
Cons: -Selena Kyle's resurrection scene. -I didn't buy into the whole situation with Penguin being this non-human being. It doesnt suit his character compared to the comics. (DeVito was still great though.)

Pros:
- Penguin's backstory.
- Michael Keaton has more to do than in Batman '89.
- the look of Gotham is still pretty good even if it's clearly studio sets.
- Christopher Walken is an effective Batman villain even if he's just some smarmy suit.
- the kooky off kilter tone of the film.
- Penguin's speech to his rocket equipped army.
Cons:
- I was never really a fan of Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman. It's more sad than sexy.
- Billy Dee Williams is wasted again!
- Penguins knowing how to raise a human baby and perform funerals?
- The subplot dealing with the mayoral election is boring.
- The general public accepting a grotesque lecherous monster like Oswald Cobblepot so readily.

Pros - Devito as Cobblepot.
Danny Elfman's score.
Gotham during Christmas is beautiful.
All the set and costume design is fantastic.
The grim and violent nature really welded well with the characters and story.
Pfeiffer as Catwoman.
Shreck, played by Walken, is a fun and devious character.
Cons - It's actually a little long.
The penguin march into Gotham with missiles strapped to their backs is pretty corny.
Keaton as Batman is hardly in it and when he is he doesn't seem very passionate about the whole thing.

Cons:
I believe this has the least amount of Batman screentime in any Batman movie.
Batman smiling while casually murdering people.
Penguin should have been Killer Crock, and Max Schreck himself should have been Penguin. Doesn't that make so much more sense compared to the comics?
Pros:
Catwoman is one of the best superhero movie villains/love interests to date. Pfiefer should have been nominated
Keaton, in spite of his lack of screentime, still owns the role
Riding off the back of the above two points, the costume party scene where Bruce and Selina are the only ones without masks, in which their alter egos themselves are the masks? Brilliant in all the ways "Superman juxtaposed with stained glass Jesus" in MoS isn't
Danny Elfman. That penguin pallbearer scene, as stupid as it was, had me crying as a kid from the music alone
Speaking of the music, "Face to Face" by Siouxsue and the Banshees. "And you'll nevah knowwwwww"
Winter setting/set design

The only real negative to me is that Batman is hardly in it
