Probably the first time I read The Lord of the Rings trilogy. AS soon as I finished, I started it again.

There were moments, more often than not, while reading Catch 22 that I burst out laughing. It was the first time I can remember a novel getting that type of reaction out of me.

I think probably The Idiot by Dostoevsky It's coming right up for me. Just have to get 'Ordinary Men' and 'Hero With a Thousand Faces' out of the way first. I'd say some of my most enjoyable reads were when I was reading Terry Pratchett, very funny sense of humor. I still think about a pun he made about 'Prints of Darkness'. Liked a lot of Tom Wolfe's books, also had a good sense of humor.

Probably Life of Pi.
I loved it.
I bought it because I heard Ang Lee was doing a movie and I was taking a trip to Florida.
I read the whole book while standing in lines at Disneyworld.

I forgot about Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy books.
I think in the last book, Dent is describing a time he thinks someone is eating his food.

I'm probably pretty strange, but I loved reading Churchill's Second World War. It was interesting reading a history of the war from the perspective of one of the national leaders.
I also still love the iliad and to a slightly lesser extent, the Odyssey.
My favorite fiction works though are John Buchan's 39 Steps and Greenmantle. Wonderful early 20th century spy novels.

Jurassic Park
Life of Pi
My first of the Ethan Gage adventures.
The Disaster Artist (funniest book I read in years)
...that's all I got at the moment.
