It is because you have your face in your palm that you don't see the big picture. Fixed.

After the lack of female superheroes they have had in Marvel movies I am not opposed to it at all. If they had done things right and introduced Carol Danvers as Ms Marvel around a decade ago and had some Ms Marvel movies and then had her go on to become Captain Marvel she would be an established character in the MCU before she took over the role of leader but Ike decided to leave out Marvel's biggest selling female superhero of all time not allowing her to even appear in 'Civil War' which looked absolutely ridiculous and sexist when she had a whole graphic novel dedicated to her role in it and was the very first superhero Tony went to 'cause she was the most powerful superhero he knew not to mention all the other female superheroes that were in 'Civil War' like Spider Woman, She Hulk, Squirrel Girl, Silk, Mockingbird, Hellcat, Jessica Jones, the Invisible Woman, Storm etc they cut in favour of adding more male characters that weren't even in 'Civil War.'

You know awhile back on this site there was a topic about Captain Marvel and what her role will be in the MCU narrative.
In that thread I mentioned that they could make her the Superman of the MCU, this big symbol of hope and given how the end credit scene in Infinity War teased her with her logo, while the world descends into chaos, makes me think that's exactly what they're going to do.
