Halloween: Resurrection. Freddie Harris is one of the most annoying characters in a horror film ever.

Jaws: The Revenge is no classic but it is still miles better than the horrible dreck known as Jaws 3D , which is easily the worst of the Jaws series and a good cure for insomnia.
Exorcist II: The Heretic is probably the most hated of the films you mentioned. That film seems to be universally disliked and with good reason, even though I have a soft spot for the film and see it as more of a well-intended misfire.

Revelations for me. While I didn't care for Exorcist II, I still liked it more than this.
The rest are bad but at least I can watch them in a "so bad it's good" way.

Hellraiser: Revelations
I’m surprised not to see “Jason Goes to Hell” up there.

Hellraiser: Revelations I’m surprised not to see “Jason Goes to Hell” up there. I feel like there are different contenders just for the most hated Friday the 13th movie. Part 5, 8, 9, and X all have there fair share of fans who think each is the worst.

Jaws the Revenge, no doubt. Of course all the Jaws movies after the first were poor (although the second wasn't too bad).
I'm pleasantly surprised that Freddy's Revenge and Halloween III aren't options. Those movies get too much flak.

I always thought Part 9 was the black sheep of the franchise, in how it doesn’t feel like a F13th film and changing Jason‘s mythology to something out of “The Hidden” cannon fodder felt ridiculously out-of-place. At least it’s not as awful as “The Hidden II”. For some, “A New Beginning” would come close, or even possibly top it, but outside of the lambasted Scooby-do reveal, at least in tone and structure it feels like a F13th film. I remember being disappointed the first time I saw it, but I didn’t hate it. Now I really enjoy it. I even prefer it over the other Tommy Jarvis entries (4&6).

People who dislike Part 5 for the Copycat must have forgotten Jason wasn't the killer in Part 1 either.

I agree that part 9 doesn't feel like it belongs, but I don't think it's all thaaat bad as sort of a stand alone stupid slasher with a ridiculous premise. It's stupid, but it has some interesting visual touches and maybe the best production values in the series. It's obviously not great, and it's obviously not a fan favorite, but it's arguable not the worst of the bunch. Part 5 does feel more like a Friday the 13th movie for most of it, but the opening where the fat, chocolate munching, idiotic weirdo character gets murdered out of essentially nowhere feels absurdly out of place, and Tommy Jarvis' Jason visions are useless too. Most of the middle of it seems about right though, but the silly reveal does indeed turn a lot of fans off. To me it's easily the weakest of the Tommy Jarvis ones. But as far as the general fan perception, I think any of these could be a contender for least liked. I think Jason X is seen as a joke, and so is part 8... Also, the remake is not well liked. Considering how popular the series is it's interesting how little people think of some of the latter entries.

He blamed everyone at the Halfway House for what happened to his son and wanted to kill them all (he was nuts, after all).
Although killing those two Greasers and Reggie's Brother and the Rednecks did raise some question marks.

It was pretty similar, but he wore a fucking latex bald cap.

Think of it this way, it goes a long way to explaining why people refused to believe Tommy in Part 6 as to Jason coming back. They already had ONE copycat killer a little while earlier.

didn't 'Next Generation' have Matthew McConnohey (spelling?) and that fat chick from the Rom Com movies and Jerry McGuire with Tom Cruise - Renee Zellwegger (spelling)? own it. haven't watched it in a bit. it was quite over the top. I used to have a copy of TCM:TNG on DVD, it was actually called The Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre when I had it. My niece "borrowed" it and moved across the country, but I'm not too upset about her breaking up my TCM movie collection. McConaughey and Zellweger were so hammy in that one, and Leatherface was a crossdresser!

I feel like I want to own TCM: TNG for my collection, but when I looked online to get it, the prices were unfathomably high. $20 at least for a DVD I'd say. So I just didn't bother with it after.

I looked into replacing my copy, but yeah, it's gotten expensive AF, maybe it's cuz it's out of print, or because MacConaughey and Zellweger both have Oscars now.
