Pick one, although you'll want to choose them all!

I just noticed autocorrect changed Exorcist II: The Heretic to "Exorcism II: The Heretic," can't edit a poll so we're stuck with it!

Halloween: Resurrection.
It looked promising for maybe the first 10 minutes, then completely fell asunder. The worst Halloween sequel (and that's counting the abysmal Halloween 6).

Mental Ward opening was tremendous - after that - well - I digress.......... VI had Paul Rudd - so despite the hate - I like Paul Rudd - how can anyone hate Paul Rudd i've still yet to see the rumored 10 endings/versions - only the one where Loomis is screaming at the end - i.e. they had to work with stuff since he died.

didn't 'Next Generation' have Matthew McConnohey (spelling?) and that fat chick from the Rom Com movies and Jerry McGuire with Tom Cruise - Renee Zellwegger (spelling)?
own it. haven't watched it in a bit. it was quite over the top.
but i'll watch anything with Matty Mc.
True Detective was great.

To me the whole plot had a part V: Inferno feel to it - which is pretty much my favorite Hellraiser. any chance of bringing this franchise back to respectability? and like we had FvJ years ago - what happened to Helloween? - i.e. Michael vs. Pinhead?

Ugh, definitely Jaws: The Revenge. Hadn't seen Exorcist II yet. Heard amazing things about it though.

For me its Halloween: Resurrection.
Exocist 2 seems to be the most hated by all though.

Have only seen Jaws 4: The Revenge (1987) and Exorcist II: The Heretic (1977), but the rest I have never seen nor do I think any recent need of having to see at the moment. I really dig Jaws 4, cheesy as hell and very entertaining movie, but if I have to pick one of these titles, it must be The Heretic, which I think I rated with a 3/10 a few years back, and do not really remember much of it either.
I was sure I would find Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) along with Friday the 13th: A New Beginning and A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985) in here, which I am very happy did not make it as they seem to be among the most well known or popular hated by "everyone" sequels for doing things a bit differently.

I voted 'Exorcist 2' because it directly followed a classic so a major letdown. The others followed other sequels in the franchises so you kind of know or expect them to be inferior.

I think TCM: The Next Generation is the worst of the bunch but Exorcist II is more widely known to be crap.
The most recent Hellraiser wasn't that terrible. It's not great by any stretch, but considering the limitations it was at least a better effort than the last one, which is a god awful abysmal piece of shit the felt like it was never even a legitimate attempt. This last one at least tried to do something somewhat interesting. It leapt over the extremely low bar set by the previous one.

The mental ward opening of resurrection isn't tremendous by any stretch, but it's ok, and is by far the best part of the movie. The rest is obviously garbage, but that opening sequence at least tries to feel Halloween appropriate, even if it lazily killed Laurie just so they could move on to the next stupid plot. I haven't seen 6 in a while, and while Paul Rudd is undeniably likeable, I remember him being pretty bad in this. I'd assume it's not his fault, but in my memory it was his worst performance. But I'd still say Resurrection is worse. Both had their better cast members, like Rudd and Donald Pleasance in 6 and Jamie Lee Curtis and and some decent character actors in Resurrection, but there's only so much the cast can do with a terrible movie.
I don't believe that goofy patient for a second, or the buffoonish guards, or Michael not being dead after h20. But it's all relatively well staged, even if it's a bit too silly to be legitimately creepy. But it's almost like a different director made that sequence than directed the latter parts, since that sort of skill is not exhibited in the shooting of the rest of the movie.
