NFL - showboating players. Especially defenders on special teams. Why the fuck they carry on like they’ve just ran in an 80 yard TD of the final play of the SB, when all they’ve done is tackled the punt returner after a 6 yard run is beyond me. Just get off the field you second string jackass. Generally, it’s only if a player gets a stop on 3rd or 4th down short of the marker that you see any sort of celebration from defenders. Even then, most are running off the field as they do it. Why off punts and kickoffs is making a tackle such a big fucking deal

Cricket - the slow death of the longform game thanks to T20 aka cricket on steroids. I don't think in itself T20 is a bad thing, but it's leading batsmen who play both forms to getting into bad habits at the crease in Test match play. I 100% disagree. T20 Cricket is killing 50 over cricket, but not Test Cricket. And it’s got nothing to with technique. It’s got everything to do with 60 overs of the 100 in the game being a period when neither side wants to take unnecessary risks, and both are happy to let it meander along. Take the middle 30 overs of each inning out, and voila - you get T20 cricket. And why does this “bad habits” myth continually get foisted upon modern batsmen ? What bad habits ? Playing shots ? I swear it’s old men with old thinking that always push this line. Gently pushing back half volleys and letting poor deliveries go simply to get your eye in is akin to flat earth thinking. I’ve yet to see anything that resembles a scoop shot, or switch hit, or a batsman dancing around the crease in the first sesssion of a Test Match, in fact, in a Test Match at all....

Warner often gets out not playing the big inside hoik, but the middle overs ODI nurdle. Twice in the 2015 ashes and twice in 3 balls at Melbourne this year.
I remember Joe Root getting out to a ramp shot at Lords' in 2013. To be fair he was 180 odd at the time and England's lead was well over 550.

A player making a solo tackle after a running back has run for a first down...yea you didn’t do anything special there bud.

Many of the things above including:
The college football bowl system. Waaaay too many bowl games. I miss the day when you had to be at least 8-4 or 9-3 or better to get an invite. Maybe 32 teams at most. This rewarding teams for records as bad as 6-6 is ridiculous. Make bowl games mean something again. A season ending top 20 ranking for example.

NCAA expected to add 3 new bowl games in 2020 Stephen PianovichThe NCAA is expected to add three new bowl games to the schedule in the 2020 season, according to college football insider Brett McMurphy. One of the new bowl games will likely be at Wrigley Field in Chicago, according to McMurphy’s report. That game is set to feature a Big Ten team against an ACC opponent. Myrtle Beach, S.C., is also likely to host one of the new bowl games, while the location of the third game is not clear. If the NCAA adds three new bowl games, the total number of postseason games will become a record 43 for FBS teams (including the College Football Playoff). The additional bowl games come at the recommendation of the NCAA’s Competition Committee.

Diving/acting as seen by *** s Ronaldo and Pepe yesterday It's the big national leagues' fault. They all let players get away with simulation for too long, instead of stamping it out. Players try that in non-league, and the fans yell 'Get up you bad nonce!" at them.
