On Desperate Housewives I couldn't stand Tom "I'm Gonna Pout At You Until I Get My Way' Scavo. He was every bit the control freak Lynette was. The couple couldn't have a disagreement without him whining that Lynette was emasculating him if she didn't instantly cave and give him his way on a silver platter. Never saw a supposedly hen pecked husband get his way as often or supposed shrew of a wife cave as often.

I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion, but on the Walking Dead, I often thought it was odd that they'd follow what Rick Grimes said to the extent that they did. He very frequently seems to make bad decisions/come up with bad plans.

On Seinfeld Kramer never had a job. Seemed weird, I need my t.v. show's to make sense.

Is hating Shae from "Game of Thrones" an unpopular opinion? She acted like she had something up her butt all the time. Bad way to die, though.

My gal loves Arya Stark. I just roll my eyes at everything that character says/does.

I'll just say this, Captain Picard was a better captain than Kirk. He's more level headed imo.

did not find the big problem others had with Wesley crusher on star trek tng. he was a little annoying but he stayed 4 straight years before he had a good and well placed story continuance.
then they chewed him up and shat him out.
did not find the need for rachel on boy meets world. snotty. morgan 1 was awesome and morgan 2 was a bitch.
Beverly hills 90210... Brandon and Kelly were the uber snot bitches on the show. self righteous turds.
orville... how many dicks do you have to draw on things before you get dishonorably discharged?

I realise it’s an unpopular opinion, but my least favourite character in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer was Anya (specifically from Season 4 onwards). I could go into detail, pointing out all the times she annoyed me/explaining all the reasons why I disliked her so much...but that would take many paragraphs, so I’ll just sum it up by saying that I didn’t find her constantly saying inappropriate things funny at all, I felt what she contributed to the group could’ve come from any of the other characters (Giles and his books, for example), and whenever she got snide with Buffy, I was always on Buffy’s side (I felt she and Willow merely tolerated Anya because of her being with Xander and even when they tried to make some friendship moments happen between Anya/Buffy or Anya/Willow, I never really bought them).
This^ is all just my opinion, of course.

Never saw a supposedly hen pecked husband get his way as often or supposed shrew of a wife cave as often. Daredevil: the secretary. I hated her. She got people killed; moved from being a secretary to a lawyer, apparently without having any degree in law; went to being star reporter, with private office, just like that.

Not a "favorite", but an "iconic" show, MASH, and I have seen most of the series, watched the movie, and read the book, and in each one of them it's obvious that the writer wanted to demonetize a character for his own purpose. The character is Frank Burns, of course. Larry Linville himself said the character couldn't possibly exist.
When someone is described as Frank Burns is described, you know the person speaking is lying, and you really suspect everything is a lie, unless you're totally naïve and clueless. Frank Burns is described in the same way that Hitler would describe the Jew, and that's what is scary.
As a result, I recall when the series was first popular in the seventies, and I remember the lie even then. The people making this knew that it wouldn't make people more tolerant. It made them want to pick someone out of any group to be the "Frank Burns". Reality and Truth never come into play. It was any poor white boy who wasn't related to anyone else in the group, in the class, or wherever. The boy could just cough and that would be enough to falsely accuse him of every cowardly act possible, even acts that never took place.
The same wackos who loved MASH and believed Frank Burns was realistic were the same ones lynching negroes a hundred years ago, or the identical personalities. They just had to find different victims. It was mostly rich white kids praising this ideology.
MASH and likewise Hollywood hate agenda movies and TV shows are responsible for more injustice than anything in the first world countries. The character of Frank Burns is what Hitler made up to justify his holocaust, and that's impossible to deny without being a complete liar.

I don't think he would have bugged me nearly as much if he was called on all the whining and passive aggressive guilt trips. He played the victim of big bad Lynette so much he was paid back for any of her faults and then some.
