They approach young pretty women and they chant obscenities around her. Then they ask her to repeat the same obscenities about herself, and they film it and post it online. They are laughing the whole time, so the girl doesn’t realise that she is on camera saying things like “I want to be fucked” in a language she doesn’t understand.
Such videos have surfaced in Brazil, Argentina and Colombia and they are causing a lot of controversy, with most people condemning the idiots while others say it’s just a harmless joke. At least one Brazilian fan involved in such a video has been identified in social media and his employer has announced that he doesn’t need to bother returning to work. The Argentinian government has also identified one of their own nationals in the same situation and asked Russia to withdraw his “fan ID” (apparently something like that is required for access to the stadiums). This case is particularly bad as the girl in question was just 15 years old.

Good one, although even if they had been there they probably wouldn't have known that something funny (not in a good way) was going on.

In related news, Ask Amy today was a female jogger asking how to deal with harassment she encounters from men while she's jogging, and I was appalled that part of the advice was to be confrontational with the harassers. Whether you ignore it or call the police is one thing, but I think confrontation could be a mistake.
