Psycho II
Exorcist III
Amityville II: The Possession Psycho II is underrated for sure, but I don't know if it's a most-beloved sequel since it's barely known to the public, unlike say Dawn of the Dead or Evil Dead II. Still a solid one though. ^See my thoughts on Exorcist III in my replies to screamingtreefrogs.^ Haven't seen Amityville II either, but I heard that it's better than the original. I wasn't the biggest fan of the original, but it was still pretty good for a haunted house flick. Just found it to be a bit underwhelming with not much happening. This sequel I'm up for, though. Besides, it's got Paulie from Rocky!

Just be aware that 'Amityville II' is more of what I would consider to be a "fun" sequel, in that it's a bit exploitative and doesn't seem to take itself so seriously.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention Texas Chainsaw Massacre II yesterday, that's another of my faves.

Yeah, I kinda knew that about Amityville II. Also TCM 2 is fun as well.

1.Not only is Bride of Frankenstein a deservedly beloved horror sequel, it's also one of the greatest sequels of any genre.
2. Dawn of the Dead. A good plot, plus a nostalgic look back at shopping malls in the 1970s and a terrific closing song.
