Surprised that no one’s mentioned The Mosquito Coast yet; I think it’s Ford’s best performance. (Other favorites would be Indiana Jones, of course, and The Fugitive. I’m actually in the midst [albeit with weeks in between] of watching the Star Wars series for, yes, the very first time, so I may yet revise this.) I’m also surprised that so many people didn’t like his performance in What Lies Beneath. I thought the performance not great but certainly serviceable, and (though I had criticisms and qualms) I quite liked the movie.

OK… I’m still surprised that no one’s mentioned The Mosquito Coast, but I may well like it more than most.

Best -
Raiders of the Lost Ark & The Last Crusade
Star Wars & The Empire Strikes Back Witness
The Fugitive Blade Runner American Graffiti
Clear and Present Danger The Conversation - Ford's a supporting role, but like American Graffiti, he plays an important role
Good -
Return of the Jedi Temple of Doom Air Force One
Working Girl
The Mosquito Coast - Ford's performance is great, but the movie's merely "good" for me Patriot Games Presumed Innocent What Lies Beneath
Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
OK -
Sabrina Blade Runner 2049
Six Days Seven Nights
Frantic - need to give this one a rewatch
K-19: The Widowmaker
Bad -
The Force Awakens - I hate to say this, as I feel Ford himself is good in the film, but the film itself is a lesser remake of A New Hope and just frustrates me on so many levels that I have to put it at the bottom.
The Devil's Own Expendables 3
Cowboys & Aliens - cool premise but poor execution Firewall Random Hearts
Hollywood Homicide - ugh, just so bad
