When I was growing up in the 90s, Chucky was my childhood trauma. I remember the VHS covers of the Child's Play trilogy (it was only a trilogy back then) and being terrified.
Others that scared me were:
Cujo (1983) Nightmares (1983) - the "Bishop of Battle" segment A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: The Dream Warriors (1987) Critters 2 (1988) - The Easter Bunny scene The Good Son (1993)

Sleepaway Camp. Saw the film when I was five, and I was scarred for life.

The only film that ever gave me a nightmare was Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island. That was the first time I had ever seen a Scooby-Doo film where the monsters were real, and it didn't sit well with me.

The ending of Sleepaway Camp scared me as an adult. Yeah, imagine watching that ending at 5-years-old like me. I was like, W... T... F!? I couldn't even move or stop staring at the screen. I may have been 5-years-old, but I remember watching that movie very well. Since then, I haven't watched the film again until my 20s because I was too scared. And I couldn't watch it alone. I had to watch it with a group of people.

The 1932 "The Mummy," and oddly enough "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?"

In my case, I actually really enjoy the Chucky movies now, especially the first two. I still get creeped out, though, so kudos to the movie for leaving a lasting image.

I wasn't scared very easily as a kid. However, the first time I saw Willy Wonka, I was traumatized because I thought all the kids died. Then, I read the book where it revealed that they survived, and I was mad at the movie for fooling me. LOL.
Good times.

There was stuff in "Ghost Busters" (terror dogs), "Gremlins", and "The NeverEnding Story" (G'mork) that scared me as a kid.

"Home Alone", specifically the furnace scene.
Strange that that scared me, yet watching footage of people in real-life earthquakes didn't scare me at all (I watched a lot of documentaries as a kid)

When I was a child probably like 7-10ish ages my mom, my sister, and myself would rent a ton of horror films on Halloween and marathon them at night. I remember never getting scared of most slasher stuff outside of A Nightmare on Elm Street. That movie legit made me afraid to go to sleep. I remember watching one of the Halloween's and Friday the 13th's and not being phased and then in popped Cujo and that movie also got me. Looking back I don't know why but that movie scared me as a kid. Child's Play is another that scared me when I was younger and looking back now those movies are really bad. I do remember my best childhood friend had a Chucky doll and I'd always hate staying over at his house because of it. No idea when I saw it when I was younger but The Exorcist gave me nightmares for a long time too.

I had terrible nightmares after watching "The Witches" when I was like 7. That scene when all the witches take off their wigs and make-up and reveal their warty hairy selves. Dear Lord! Also I couldnt pee standing up for weeks after watching "The Sixth Sense" because there is this one scene where Osment is peeing standing up and a dead person is passing the bathroom behind him.

A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) Faces of Death (my brother and his friend had a copy when I was quite young) "It" the miniseries. I know it was on network, but my fear of clowns has never recovered.

I watched with my 8 year old son last Christmas. On that furnace scene he jumped and ran very fast to his room to hide. Lol, it took some encouraging to get him to finish the movie, but he did and loved the movie despite the furnace scene.

Snow White when I was about 3/4 lol, older Disney films are pretty scary though.
I remember seeing an advert for The Excorist being on tv when I was 8 and it frightened me. I watched it though and I thought it was boring.
