Many dumb Patriots fans are claiming that the Patriots Super Bowl win over the Falcons proves that Brady didn't cheat in DeflateGate. zoilus (who used to be schlacko-wacko on IMDb) even posted comments from incompetent and dumb Richard Berman claiming that the Patriots win over the Falcons is vindication of incompetent Berman's incorrect decision.
That's the dumbest argument ever!
1st, the court records will forever inidcate that Berman was overturned by a higher court. There's no vindication for that.
2nd, the Patriots beating the Falcons this year doesn't prove that Brady didn't cheat in DeflateGate. In 2016, the Jamaican men's team won the gold medal in the 4x100 meter relay race at the Rio Olympics. Recently, it was discovered that 1 of the Jamaican racers had tested positive for PEDs. So based on that dumb argument by dumb Patriots fans and incompetent Berman, if the Jamaican men's team wins the gold medal again in the 4x100 meter relay race at the 2020 Olympics, then that would prove that racer in 2016 didn't take PEDs.
Once again, Patriots fans prove how dumb they are and Berman proves just how incompetent he is. How the Patriots are doing now is completely irrelevant to DeflateGate and doesn't prove at all that Brady didn't cheat. The 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals has made their ruling. Brady was found guilty of cheating in DeflateGate and nothing has changed that fact.

Nobody gives a rats ass about deflategate any longer? The only remaining factor from that entire nonsense is the Pats losing a 4th round pick in this years draft, other than that it is all forgotten about except by bitter Patriots haters.

It's like taking a US history class and pretending that slavery never happened in the US. Slavery was a significant part of US history and as awful as slavery was, we can't just pretend that part of US history never happened. Similarly, SpyGate and DeflateGate are a significant part of the Patriots history so you can't just pretend that part of Patriots history never happened. Just as slavery did happen, SpyGate and DeflateGate did happen. The Patriots did cheat and did get caught cheating. And the result of that cheating is that their first 4 Super Bowl wins are tainted by cheating and have asterisks. No matter how much you want to deny that and pretend that SpyGate and DeflateGate never happened, it doesn't change the historical fact that the Patriots first 4 Super Bowl wins are tainted by cheating from SpyGate and DeflateGate.

You're too dumb to see the pattern there so I'll explain to you what all those cases have in common. 1st, Zimmerman, Casey Anthony, and O.J. weren't found innocent. Juries don't find defendants innocent. Juries find defendants not guilty. Big difference. 2nd, the reason that Zimmerman, Casey Anthony, and O.J. were found not guilty is because no jury wants to incorrectly punish someone if they have reasonable doubt of that person's guilt. The system isn't designed to convict every guilty person.
The system is designed so that someone doesn't get punished for a wrongdoing that they didn't commit. The system is designed to favor defendants so that they don't get punished for a wrongdoing that they didn't commit.
Yet, even with the system designed to favor Brady, the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals still upheld (not just upheld but actually overturned a lower court ruling that had set aside Brady's punishment) and re-instated Brady's punishment for cheating. No U.S. federal appellate court would ever do something like that unless they were 100% confident that the evidence proved that person was guilty of the wrongdoing they were charged with.
So clearly the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals believed that the evidence proved Brady cheated. But you and all the biased Patriots fans are in denial so you blame the court's findings on a conspiracy against Brady. Basically, you and all the biased Patriots fans rather believe that an unbiased federal appellate court which has no affiliate to the NFL and which took a oath to review evidence objectively and without bias participated in a witchhunt against Brady than believe the truth - that Brady cheated and got caught cheating. |
