Color, looked European-made, but the voices sounded dubbed into English as I recall. The setting was 1800's Europe. At the beginning of the movie a handsome aristocrat was arriving at his castle (or maybe it was a manor house) with a young attractive woman, blonde as I recall, so I'll just call her the blonde woman from now on. And he's all very charming and sophisticated and wanting to make a good impression on her. She is given a bedroom to sleep in and after he leaves a beautiful dark-haired woman enters and begins talking with her, getting closer to her, maybe stroking her hair or something like that as if making a lesbian advance. And if it is a lesbian advance, the blonde woman either doesn't see it as such, or she does see it and doesn't mind. That part was never clear to me.
Anyway, before it can go any further, the aristocrat bursts in and storms angrily at the dark-haired woman, maybe saying something about how he'd already warned her against this kind of thing. The blonde woman tries to calm him down, but he grabs the dark-haired woman and drags her out. A little later the blonde woman leaves the bedroom and she hears the sharp crack of whip followed by a female scream. The sounds repeat every few seconds and get louder as she gets closer until she comes to a room where she finds the dark-haired woman manacled to the wall, and the aristocratic guy was lashing on the back.
The blonde woman's image of the aristocrat is instantly demolished, and she asks him something like, "How could you be so cruel? She did nothing wrong. She was only trying to be friends with me."
The aristocrat yells something like, "You don't know what she is. You don't know how much danger you were in."
To illustrate his point, the aristocrat grabs the dark-haired woman by her face and turns it around so the blonde woman can see. Not surprisingly the dark-haired woman is crying and whimpering from her punishment, and she has something that the blonde woman did not see earlier, something which comes a great surprise...…..vampire fangs. The blonde woman is horrified and runs away. The aristocrat does something, maybe sighs or lowers his head, to indicate that his careful plans to impress the blonde woman have been wrecked. I think he unchains the dark-haired woman at that point but I'm not sure.
I stopped watching after that because it was making me kind of uncomfortable. I actually felt sorry for all three of the characters. Don't know if the aristocratic guy turned out to be a vampire too, but it was very important to him that the blonde woman not be harmed. Sorry, but that's all I can remember. Thanks in advance for any help.
