Starts in about 40 minutes. Will this be an interesting match & will Denmark try to become 1st in the group or are both countries happy enough with 1 point each, resulting in a bore draw?

I'm going for a bold choice this time: a win for Denmark.

Griezmann is really underperforming so far this World Cup, I hope he gets better later in the tournament.

Looks like this will be the first 0 - 0 of the tournament.

What a dull, lifeless affair.
I hate this part of the tournament. Teams don't bother to put their best out on the pitch and play defensively. Just play for a draw if that moves you on.

They should both be deducted points for wasting everybody's time.

Like I said yesterday. France was happy with a draw, Denmark was happy with a draw, so this is what you get. A standard late in the group stage snorefest where both sides are more interested in chewing up 90 minutes without major incident than winning the game.
Happily 6 of the last 8 games have major impact on progression so this scenario shouldn't rise its head again.
England v Belgium could be a snoozer though.

Itβs most likely going to be the B-team of England vs the B-team of Belgium. Slight advantage to England. Might still be fun to watch, lots of young players hoping to leave a mark.

Are both teams playing for a draw.... match fixing? Probably, although I thought France might have gone to lose, so they would pllay Croatia instead of Argentina next.

It's not matvh fixing. If a defender stuffed up and gave a handball in the box I guarantee you the guy stepping up to the spot doesn't deliberately bomb it in the second tier.
Not trying to score is not the same as deliberately losing. If it were then every team who pushes 9 into the defensive third late in a game is match fixing. If neither team are trying to score, then it is what it is.

Probably, although I thought France might have gone to lose, so they would pllay Croatia instead of Argentina next. Given the 3 game sample size, there is not a chance I want to play Croatia ahead of Argentina. I suppose. But the several year sample size the rankings give us tells a different story. I didn't see any Group D games but I expect game strategies might change with sudden death, and some teams that look lackluster in the group could look better in the next rounds. Messi stepped up only in the last game.
