If you liked Captain Fantastic and think you could do with third of the plot and pace, Leave No Trace may be a movie for you. The acting is superb. For me, it was too slow and somewhat boring at times and thus didnt have any real emotional impact but people around me seemed very affected. For sure it is a well made movie, from the director of Winter Bone (it has some similarities in the style). Just dont expect anything fast or filled with plot.
But if you like meditative stories this may be the one. I am now interested to read the book. 6.5/10 from me, but if you like slow movies you might rate it much higher.
