The plot was a little silly....some death entity follows when you have sex with the cursed person but the idea so something out there always after you until the end of time is kind of creepy. The way it would be walking from across the way and the audience could see it coming.

Saw it and loved it. It was like a bad dream from my high school days.

I liked it. It was certainly unique and a had a very deliberate tone and pace that's unlike other horror movies. It's sort of timeless and of no time at all. Pretty strange.
But I do think that the criticism of it not always following its own rules is fair.

I hated "It Follows" and "Get Out"... and it's not because I don't understand the allegory and visuals, etc... I just thought they weren't executed as well as everyone made out. Then again, I really love "The Strangers" and "Don't Breathe" ... so Who Knows. I didn't like it tbh.

Yes. One of the better horror movies of 2014. I thought it was original and had great cinematography and an outstanding musical score.

I love all four. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I quite enjoyed it. The premise is simple yet immensely creepy and I found it to be well executed.

It is excellent. So creepy and the music is fantastic. One of the best horror movies of the decade so far.

I saw it, found it a bit overrated. A lot of that is admittedly because I think it stole the thunder of The Guest, a stylistically similar movie that came out just before it (and even has the same lead actress). But I also found the oh so "original" story kind of derivative - it's basically The Ring but with sex instead of a weird video tape. Then I thought the characters were annoying and stupid. Shooting "It" won't work, but you think electrifying it in a pool will? Meh.

Somewhat original, but thought it was mad overrated and the premise wasn't particularly scary or creepy. Maybe in a sequel we'll find out what happens if you just move to another country overseas. Can it swim? Does it get on a plane?
