First of all I have seen very very few modern films except for star wars and Marvel but:
See the thing is with modern films, anytime you have a female versus a male fight, the male cannot win.
The female in the fight can temporarily lose but in the end always has to end up winning the fight. Unless someone can point to an example of the opposite happening?
There's a 2012 movie of the same name. Whaddya say to that?
How dare you use facts?!
Well it was made in this decade. I was just seeing how joetorrence would think how the '90 film couldn't get made today yet it was remade for Christ's sake.

Even in 1990, Benny the cab driver being a bad guy would have been a no-no for the big studios--how many outright black bad guys did they have in the 80s and 90s? And technically he was a mutant.
Caligula: Do you think I'm mad?...Sometimes I think that I'm going mad. Do you — be honest with me — has that thought ever crossed your mind?
Claudius: Never. Never. The idea is preposterous. You set the standard of sanity for the whole world.

Did it have a scene like the one in the 1990 version? Where a male wins a fight against a female?

Unlike Total Recall.
Look, if you're scared of losing a fight to a girl, just don't get into a fight with a girl. It's that simple.
I have found and truly believe that there is nothing so bad it cannot be made better with a story.

Ok. The thing is though if I Was going to get into a fight, I would prefer if it was with a girl though. That'd be the only time I would have a chance of winning.
Even then I would only have a slim chance of winning, but that's better than no chance.
