According to Harvard research: no link it is just common sense that they agree with me scientifically and stuff...
1. Meditate. Rewire the brain to lift levels of insipient happiness and get rid of the negatives.
2. Be kind. Altruism lifts the spirits and removes mild depression by contrasting your situation with others less fortunate.
3. Spend more time money and energy on experiences rather than 'things' or material goods. The benefits are more enduring in learning and memories, than the burden of maintenance and upkeep.
4. Make your immediate living environment more natural, beautiful and simple. (and/ or go outside more)
5. Always ensure that you have something to look forward to. Anticipation can be even more important than the experience.
6. Physical activity and exercise. Long known and proven chemically in the brain and scientifically ( see go outdoors more often)
7. Find what you love, and/or do best, and do it regularly and often. Achieves stuff and makes you feel good.
DUH!...though many have forgotten this shit in their daily lives.
Personally, I want to add one more.
8. Nourish yourself and your body (how much do I love that word?) Eat well, and as naturally as you can. Buy fresh, eat fresh. Cook fresh prepare fresh and enjoy the process, and limit takeout and fast food and junk to hardly ever, though it is not a crime, and can add to your life experience and enjoyment as a treat or fat/sugar/carb/chemical overload, when eaten in excess.
